Yes, this is an independent add-on product for Tourplan users and it is imperative that you use the main functionalities of Tourplan to get satisfactory results.
No, this is a product offered by DMC Systems S.A., an independent company based in Costa Rica. Tourplan is not involved and not responsible for the product.
The implementation of the product includes two steps. First you need to comply with certain configuration requirements in your Tourplan database to connect to the Destination Management System (DMS). This might take some time depending on the extent of your product and the tidiness of your Tourplan database. The customer support team of DMC Systems will of course guide you through this process. Once this configuration is granted by you, the installation of the synchronizer takes a few hours. Secondly you will have to set up the content. This is an important one-time project, but this investment will save you a lot of time in the future and our tools make it easy to create and manage your content.
DMC Systems can help you to export all your existing text messages into the DMS and you will not lose your existing text content, provided the texts fit the required formats.
This product has been developed in close collaboration with leading DMCs specialized in the individual travel business and is able to handle complexity far beyond comparable products. You can manage different text types (per market, per client, per tool) and of course in different languages. Products can be allocated or restricted to clients and markets to comply with business requirements. It also allows to group products to packages.
